We opted to hold on to this boy from our litter last fall to further develop him for his forever hunting partner (or loving family!). This handsome, intact, 8-month-old male comes from a fantastic hunting lineage known for their excellent temperament. Sire - Copper is the epitome of a handsome bird-dog. He is solid and square, right around 48 lbs. He has that desirable temperament made famous from his Maverick bloodline. Copper's discipline and obedience have been exemplary. His work in the field is equally impressive. We simply love watching him quartering in a field with such drive and make flashy points. He is a dog that knows his job and loves it.
Dam - Emma is exceptional when it comes to embracing training and commands. She is able to pick something new up in an afternoon or two. We love her interest in finding game and her endurance to hunt for days. She is lean, with a lot of muscle and long legs, right around 35 lbs. Emma keeps aware of the position of her hunters and other dogs, and naturally honors their points. She makes for a very dependable dog on hunts.
